By the end of the match which was played in the usual Fort William Weather a good game was enjoyed by the many spectators from far and near .
All then retired to the Masonic Club for a afternoon of lively debate and the usual raffles and auction of the decanter thet was bought by the lodges in memory of Bro.Walter Whitehead for all the hard work he did on behalf of the local charities that benifit from this afternoons fundraising,the total raised by all was £1335.00 aprox which was made up by the followinG - Club Bottle about £250.00 , Raffle £220.00 , Collection at the match £190.00 , Auction of the decanter £690.00
